We created this blog to keep everyone posted on Mason's upcoming major skull surgery on December 10, 2013. Mason was diagnosed with a rare birth defect called Craniosynostosis at his 1 month well visit. We also hope to bring awareness to this condition in hopes of helping out other babies and children with Craniosynostosis. Please continue to keep our sweet baby boy in your prayers!

1 Year Post-Op!
Mason had his 1 year Cranioversary on December 10th! It is unbelievable that it has been a year. My life is forever changed in amazement of watching our resilient little HERO go through and recover from skull surgery. It is amazing how fast he healed and how well he did. You literally would never know he had his entire skull taken apart and put back together! His scar is so faint that you have to look for it. He does have a few holes that we are praying grow together (if they don't, he will need another surgery in the next couple of years). His next appointment with his Neurosurgeon and CT scan will be in June. Thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers!
